DON'T TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT, SEE WHAT OUR 2017 RUNNER SAID ABOUT THE EVENT

What an amazing weekend!
Start to finish this was a fantastically well organised event that had something for everyone!
Great food, great evening entertainment and amazing to talk to so many like minded people. I’m so jealous of the people with all the amazing medals!
We will be telling everyone about this event!
How about a camping ground next year and a 24 hour endurance event too?!
Team 401, you should be so proud of yourselves. An inspiring event that left everyone with a smile on their face!
— Chris Clacy
A fantastic and well organised event. It was great that Ben got stuck in too, and was around for the whole event. Nothing was too much trouble for him when it came to selfies with so many of the runners taking part. The marshals were fab too and they did such a great job directing the runners around each course. It was such a great event that even the ‘cheeky hill’ at the start of the 10k and the hills on the 5k can be forgiven. My 3 kids had a brilliant time too at the festival with cheering everyone on and taking part in Sunday’s 1 mile.
I’ll definitely be coming back next year... this time to do the challenge!
— Rebecca Watts
An absolutely amazing weekend. I took on the challenge of the 10k, 5k and half marathon. Really friendly event. For a first event the organsation was excellent. The marshals were brilliant and very encouraging with much needed jelly babies on the half marathon route. We even spotted some flat coke on one water station which gave us the boost needed to get through the last few miles! Will definitely be back next year. it was great having the spectator support around the course too, including my family. Well done Ben and all the crew.
— Lesley Nesbitt
A fantastic and well organised weekend. Fantastic weather,
Great food, great music and friendly people.
I had an advantage of knowing the routes as I live here! but I hope it showed off our beautiful town to the people who traveled here!
Well done Ben and team
— Darren Beacham
What a fantastic first year! The 10k route was varied and fun. Though what was up with the hill at the end?!! I managed to achieve a PB and will definitely be signing up for next years
— Cherry Wilkinson
