CAR PARKING AND TRAVEL TO EVENT
We have a number of car parking options close to The Events Village this year so you should find somewhere to park you car
Events Village Car Park:
This car park is situated next to our Events Village (BS20 7HD) as shown in the map below. Please note it is only accessible during certain times due to the entrance and exit of the car park being used for races.
Saturday 25th August
Car Park will open at 12:30pm and close at 14:00pm. The Car Park will then reopen at 20:15pm so you can leave. Cars parked in this car park will not be allowed to leave unless there is an emergency.
Sunday 26th August
Car Park will open at 8:00am and close at 9:30am. The Car Park will then reopen at 14:15pm so you can leave. Cars parked in this car park will not be allowed to leave unless there is an emergency.
Other Parking Options:
If you cannot get to the Events Village Car Park during the open times, or know you will need to leave the Events Village Car Park during the hours it is closed for races, please use our map below which shows you all the other parking options around the Lake Grounds Area. Follow BS20 7HD on your Sat Nav which will take you to the Lake Grounds.
If you are staying locally we would recommend you leave your car and walk to the Events Village, it will be a nice warmup!
Disabled Parking is available in the Events Village Car Park, one of our Car Parking attendants will direct you to a space closest to the Events Village. Otherwise, you can park just outside the Events Village next to the Lido. Please use BS20 7HD in your Sat Nav.
The 401 Foundation cannot be responsible for any loss or damage to your cars or their contents while parked either in the Events Village Car Park or around the Lake Grounds area.
Travel to the events village
If you are staying locally in any of the hotels mentioned in the accommodation section, a map will be handed to you on arrival with full details on how to make your way to the Events Village. Both major hotels are only a maximum of 20 minutes walk from the Events Village. Other wise please use the BS20 7HD in your phone to direct you to the Events Village.

Take the bus
Please use the Travel West website to investigate all options for local bus travel
There is currently no train station in Portishead, the nearest is Bristol Temple Meads or Nailsea. We would recommend you get a taxi or the bus if traveling into Portishead from outside the town.
Please book your taxi ahead of schedule for a drop off and pickup from Battery Point, Lake Grounds, Esplande Road, Portishead, BS20 7HD. This is the events village and all taxi's will be able to approach the events village on both days
